Halloween Night - PHANTASMA's 'Book Of Phantasma' is finally out.
This evening on Halloween night, Slovakian blackened death metallers PHANTASMA unveiled their fifth full-length album, "Book Of Phantasma", via Apocrypha Records. Described as "44 minutes of punishing, blasphemous, hate-filled anthems in the vein of such hellish acts as BEHEMOTH and ZYKLON, with each track representing a dark, haunting chapter of the menacing 'Book Of Phantasma'," the CD demonstrates how PHANTASMA has progressed, both in technicality and songwriting ability, since its last, critically acclaimed release, the "Alternativa 666" EP.
John MacMurphy, who manages Apocrypha Records, commented: "Much like 'Alternativa 666', their first release with us, 'Book Of Phantasma' continues to impress with its the dark melodies over technical brutal riffs . SYN Finally unleashes ROAD TO RUIN [US VERSION] In The UK
SYN, the Melodic Death Metal band based out of France , just released the North American version of ROAD TO RUIN in the UK.
This new version of ROAD TO RUIN was released in North America last year by Extreme Metal label and global distributor Apocrypha Records. The release contains all original 10 tracks, including "the Howling" with vocals performed by Kathy Coupez of DYLATH-LEEN. BLASPHEMOUS CREATION Releases New Album In The UK.
Nevada, USA based Blackened Thrash Metal band, BLASPHEMOUS CREATION,, finally unveil their much anticipated full length release, DIABOLICAL KINGDOM in the UK.
Pre-orders for this much anticipated release have already been taken by major retailers such as HMV, AMAZON UK and PLAY. Now, DIABOLICAL KINGDOM will be made available to all other UK and Ireland outlets through Code 7 via Plastic Head Distribution.
BLASPHEMOUS CREATION has already made their presence known with many critically acclaimed EP releases such as Rest In Pieces (2006), Black Winter (2007), Fire (2008) and most recently, Shadows Of Evil (2009). Now, with their newest full length release, DIABOLICAL KINGDOM, is sure to solidify their place among the current top Metal acts.
The new album, which was self produced and recorded by BLASPHEMOUS CREATION, contains 15 tracks and over an hour's worth of material,including an amazing rendition of "OF FIRE" originally by DISMEMBER.

BLASPHEMOUS CREATION is well known for winning the 2008 UK based Bloodstock Open Air festival contest - earning them a featured spot at the festival. Unfortunately, the band did not expect to win and so was unable to secure passports in time to make it to the festival.

SYN to release US version of ROAD TO RUIN
The French Melodic Death Metal band SYN is about to release the US version of their acclaimed ROAD TO RUIN album on Friday September 25, 2009. SYN signed up with the North American Extreme Metal label Apocrypha Records several months ago. However, rather then re-releasing the original album, the band went back into the studio and recorded fresh material specifically for this release.
With an extra bonus track and a completely new album design, this release not only sets itself apart from the original release, but it also sets a new standard for album design and production in the Extreme Metal genre.
